Garden Wedding

Are you planning to tie the knot soon?  You are probably on the lookout for that perfect location - may it be in a church, in a civil wedding hall or a much grandiose garden wedding.  Well, look no further!  A garden wedding is so much in demand these days, so much so with a garden wedding by the beach side.  It is not only literally refreshing,  it also gives you a feeling of bliss on that important day, because, I’m telling you, that bliss will be so missed when you are on a family way real soon after.

Of course, you got to find a perfect month for that perfect weather.  You also got to have an alternative location to keep at close should there be a sudden change of weather forecast in a flash.  I am talking based on experience, this was when I attended a niece wedding by the Marina Bay in Sydney, Australia when suddenly an outpour of rain on an unexpected strong wind course ruined the supposedly perfect garden wedding day.  A close beach club venue saved not only the couples important day but also the whole entourage and guests perfect outfit of the day!  Well, we called that a drizzle of blessings.

So, whether you are planning for a grandiose or modest kind of tight budget, there are plenty of destinations to look from this time of the year.  We in the Philippines do not run short of destinations to choose from as we are blessed with over 7000 (7,107 islands to be exact on low tides) islands in one nation to boast for.

An inquiry to a good one or two wedding organizer could do the magical trick.  So here is one reputable name in the field that could take away the worries out of your mind - or your hands rather, suggested by a good friend Mr. Bret Pilapil whom all photos here in this particular post were provided by the way, please contact - The Wedding Planner Mr. Resty Montepieda.  Just leave a comment below for your contact queries.

In case some of you are scouting a place for the same or just planning to hang out with family and friends, especially for those who live within the area and/or from neighboring provinces in Marinduque, Philippines, there are numbers of resorts around town.  It is also noteworthy to feature here the beautiful South West Bay Resort (in photos) at Brgy. Bacung-bacung, Gasan, Marinduque, Philippines.  Summer time is around the corner, so go pack your things ahead for that great holiday!

THANK YOU!

Dear Friends,

I would like to start by saying THANK YOU to all!

Thank you to my Filipino countrymen and Non-Filipino friends alike (Yes, you!).

Thank you for all the help you have been extending to the Philippines since the devastating Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda hit the country. Thank you for not even a second had a thought of not helping; thinking that your effort may not be used properly and extended to the people who needed it most. It’s true that we may think so, but did not stop us otherwise.

Our global solidarity as a citizen of the world is once again challenged this time by a recent catastrophic calamity in Central Philippines, a kind of event that we hope would not happen again anywhere else in the world.

We may not be able to return back all your kind hearted gestures, but I am sure that all your good deeds are commendable to God. May HE spare us all always!

Time and again, THANK YOU for your selflessness by helping people beyond your reach!

GOD bless your souls!

My Sincerest,
Roland Ramirez

Tour of Discovery

The great tour of discovery is not through horizontal travels to the south or the north or the east or the west, but through vertical journeys: downward deep into one's own heart to see oneself and upward high to the heavens to see God.

Liverpool Cathedral & St. James Garden

During my trip in Liverpool, I got fascinated by this huge Anglican Church called Liverpool Cathedral. I got even more fascinated when I discovered that there is this 10 acre cemetery (St. James Garden [cemetery]) down the rear side of the towering church which was once a final resting place for nearly 58000 souls.

It was spooky enough to know that most deads are from the war era, deads from children died within the hour of their birth to different walks of lives.

On the wall you can still find marks of mortars and bullets that witnessed the stories of the past.

HILLSONG

Hey guys!  For those who are requesting to see Hillsong Australia, here are the different facades of the church.  The two branches I last visited in Sydney.

Now you can see this megachurch, both of their branches at Young St. and the Convention Center in Norwest Blvd., Baulkham Hills where they usually hold concerts, just like the ones you see in DVD's.  So next time you visit Australia, come here and pay a visit.
